Senior Pre‑Sales Solutions Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Pre‑Sales Solutions Engineer to act as the technical bridge between our sales team and manufacturing/FMCG clients. You will visit factories, understand operational pain points, design integrated solutions, and produce winning proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client discovery meetings, factory walkthroughs and technical assessments.
• Identify gaps in PLC, SCADA, MES, ERP, network and data architecture.
• Design integration approaches (PLC‑to‑SCADA, SCADA‑to‑MES, MES‑to‑ERP) and propose future‑state solutions.
• Prepare clear technical proposals, Statements of Work and project scoping documents.
• Define required skill mix, allocate resources and hand over projects to delivery teams.
• Support delivery teams during early implementation to ensure alignment with the sold solution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Automation or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on or consulting experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Proven track record writing technical proposals and SOWs.
• Experience working with system integrators or industrial technology vendors.

Required skills

• PLC programming and configuration.
• SCADA/HMI development.
• MES implementation.
• ERP integration (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Industrial communication protocols and middleware.
• Network architecture assessment.
• Track & trace, serialization, OEE dashboards, real‑time production monitoring.
• Familiarity with Siemens, Rockwell, Ignition, AVEVA/Wonderware, ISA standards (certifications a plus).
