Senior Materials Engineer

About the role

We are an international consultancy seeking a Senior Materials Engineer to lead materials activities on a high‑profile building project in Qatar. The role involves overseeing all material‑related processes on‑site, ensuring they meet project standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all materials‑related activities on site.
• Review and approve material submittals, specifications, and test results.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with design, quality, and construction teams to resolve technical issues.
• Liaise with laboratories and oversee materials testing and inspection procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 13 years of experience, including major infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong background in materials testing, quality control, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Previous experience in international or large‑scale construction projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in English.
