Senior Instructor – Information Technology Management

About the role

The Department of Information Technology & Operations Management at the Adnan Kassar School of Business seeks a Senior Instructor to teach and develop curricula in Information Technology Management. The successful candidate will join a vibrant, AACSB‑accredited business school and contribute to both undergraduate and graduate programs.

Key responsibilities

• Teach a variety of undergraduate courses in Information Technology, MIS, and related business‑tech disciplines.
• Provide academic advising, mentor students, and lead experiential learning projects and student competitions.
• Deliver industry‑relevant instruction using real‑world cases, technological frameworks, and practical problem‑solving.
• Lead curriculum design, program reviews, and strategic course updates aligned with evolving technology trends and AACSB standards.
• Support the growth of existing and new programs through academic guidance, curriculum improvement, and strategic administrative assistance.
• Participate actively in departmental, school, and university committees to shape future programs and learning initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Information Technology, Business, or a closely related field; a Master’s (MSc/MBA) is preferred.
• At least ten years of higher‑education experience, preferably at an accredited university.
• Proven record of curriculum development and student mentorship at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Ability to teach core and advanced IT courses, focusing on information system resource management, computer acquisition, and end‑user computing development.
• Strong academic leadership and instructional excellence.
