About the role

Olgoonik is recruiting a Curriculum and Law Enforcement Advisor to support the development and enhancement of training for the Internal Security Forces (ISF). The advisor advises on curriculum design, instructor development and academy management, builds sustainable training programs including advanced and specialized courses, and guides equipment procurement, training implementation and operational readiness. Key responsibilities

  • Work with the ISF to design a plan for the structure and curriculum of advanced/follow-on courses such as leadership, investigations, tactics, special operations, counter drugs, counter financial crimes, equipment maintenance, defensive tactics, prisons and corrections, and information technology, and show the ISF how to design and run its own courses.
  • Develop curriculum, scenario-based training and advise on academy management best practices.

  • Conduct market research and incorporate training recommendations into project plans.
  • Carry out site visits to check that training and equipment use match expectations, and possibly develop instructors to train others.

  • Knowledge of Arabic (for overseas experts) and French; excellent English at Foreign Service Institute level 4.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and passport, good health, and ability to sustain a deployment of up to nine months.

Required skills

  • Curriculum development and equipment procurement expertise.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Government contracting processes and procedures.
  • Ability to train others in their area of expertise.

Applications are accepted through the agency until 5:00 p.m. ET on April 30, 2026; only candidates meeting all requirements will be considered.
