Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager - Risk Consulting (FSRM)

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager for its Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice in Beirut. The FSRM practice delivers integrated risk management services to capital market participants such as banks, pension funds, investment companies and insurers, covering Pillar One and Pillar Two risks, risk analytics, credit analysis, investment analysis and risk reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute technically to the delivery of financial services risk engagements and act as a workstream leader, supporting the team, keeping delivery leads updated and building relationships with external clients and internal peers.
• Help package project findings into clear, concise, high-quality deliverables and prepare presentations.
• Support colleagues on quality and risk management, ensuring junior team members follow EY's guidelines, and mentor juniors to become high performers.

Required profile

• Top-tier education in a quantitative, finance, economics or actuarial programme.
• Up to 5 years of relevant experience in consulting and/or banking, ideally in a project-based, team-oriented environment with a track record of managing teams in fast-paced settings.
• Proven experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Appetite for business development and contributing to the growth of EY's solutions.
• Ideally holds FRM and/or CFA certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in R, Python or SQL.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Strong people management and stakeholder management skills.
