Manager, Risk Consulting – FSRM

About the role

EY's Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice provides integrated risk management services to capital market participants such as banks, pension funds, investment companies and insurers. As an FSRM Manager in Beirut, you will lead FS risk management engagements, act as a team leader and support clients and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead FS risk management engagements as a team leader, supporting the team, keeping communication flowing and updating engagement directors and partners on progress
• Build relationships with external clients and internal peers, and contribute to presentations and proposal inputs
• Keep up with commercial insights for clients and help package project findings into clear, concise, high-quality deliverables
• Act as a role model for quality and risk management, ensuring junior team members understand and comply with EY's Quality and Risk Management guidelines
• Coach and develop junior team members

Required profile

• Degree from a top institution in a quantitative, finance, economics or actuarial programme
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in consulting and/or banking
• Project-based, team-oriented experience, ideally in banking or consulting, with a track record of managing teams in fast-paced environments
• Experience managing internal and external stakeholders
• Appetite for business development and contributing to the growth of EY's solutions
• Ideally holds FRM and/or CFA certification

Required skills

• Proficiency in R, Python or SQL
• Strong analytical, report-writing, facilitation and presentation skills
• People management and stakeholder management skills
