Senior Associate Lawyer - Mergers & Acquisitions

About the role

Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients on corporate, commercial, regulatory and dispute matters under Lebanese and Saudi jurisdictions, while leading complex M&A transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all stages of mergers and acquisitions transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating documents, regulatory approvals and closing.
• Draft, review and negotiate legal documents and contracts in both Arabic and English.
• Conduct thorough legal research to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Liaise with government entities to facilitate regulatory approvals, licensing and compliance.
• Manage and mentor Associates and Trainee Associates.
• Collaborate closely with senior team members on complex legal matters.
• Maintain accurate case records and legal documentation.
• Stay current on developments in Lebanese and Saudi law and advise the team accordingly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a top‑tier university; Master’s or advanced qualification preferred.
• Valid license to practice law in Saudi Arabia.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience in Saudi Arabia, with hands‑on M&A transaction management.
• Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English, with excellent drafting and communication skills.
• In‑depth understanding of the Saudi legal system, judicial procedures and regulatory environment.
• Preferably Lebanese nationality.
• High integrity, strong professional ethics and excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, team‑oriented environment and adapt proactively.
