Senior Android Engineer

We are seeking a highly talented Senior Android Engineer to join our Mobile Engineering team at Toters, an on‑demand e‑commerce and delivery platform. This role offers the chance to make a direct impact on our customers' experience across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into well‑designed Android features.
• Design, develop, test, and optimize new Android functionalities for a smooth user experience.
• Create reusable, scalable code and implement robust security measures.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs and stay updated on mobile development trends.
• Participate in code reviews and support cross‑functional troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Proven track record of independently designing and delivering well‑architected Android applications.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Java programming.
• Jetpack Compose and other Jetpack libraries.
• Dependency Injection frameworks.
• Git version control.
• Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.
• Reactive programming (RxJava, RxKotlin, Flows).
