Senior Accountant

About the role

HNZ Holding is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join its Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities, supporting month‑end and year‑end closings, payroll, taxation, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for a group of companies.
• Record, review, and maintain accounting entries in line with standards.
• Process monthly payroll and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
• Handle VAT, payroll tax, withholding tax, tax declarations, and statutory filings.
• Prepare bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, depreciation, and journal entries.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting documents for management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑company environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processing, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Proven experience in month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems.
