Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support accurate financial reporting for our organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and verify general ledger entries, investigating discrepancies with internal teams.
• Participate in audits, cost reporting, and tax filings (VAT, salary tax, non‑resident tax, NSSF, income tax) while meeting deadlines.
• Prepare and submit periodic financial reports.
• Coordinate legal documentation for NSSF compliance with legal advisors and NSSF representatives.
• Liaise with banks for routine transactions and required documentation.
• Execute daily cash closing in line with company policies.
• Process intercompany transactions and perform reconciliations.
• Manage the fixed‑assets register and calculate yearly depreciation.
• Support external audit teams by providing necessary schedules and documentation.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of taxation and NSSF regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
