About the role

AIHOM-ISTIKBAL is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join its showroom team in Jounieh. The role involves greeting customers, providing personalized service, and driving sales of furniture and interior décor.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers on the sales floor and manage their experience from entry to checkout.
• Present, promote, and sell products using solid arguments tailored to existing and prospective customers.
• Follow up with customers after visits and maintain long‑lasting relationships.
• Ensure the showroom meets visual standards, complete daily checklists, and assist with seasonal inventories.
• Implement window and interior displays as directed by Visual Merchandising.
• Price items, monitor stock levels, and order missing merchandise.
• Advise customers on furniture size, style, colour, fabric, and wood to complement their homes.
• Measure and record dimensions for custom items in front of customers.
• Unroll curtains and carpets to showcase fabric assortments.
• Close sales, accompany customers to the exit, and coordinate delivery logistics.
• Inspect items before delivery and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Report customer feedback, market trends, and potential new products to management.

Required profile

• Interior design background.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar sales or customer‑service role.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent selling, negotiation, and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to build immediate credibility with customers and uphold high service standards.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on meeting sales targets.
• Knowledge of the furniture business.
