Sales Analyst

About the role

The Sales Analyst monitors sales performance, prepares sales reports and analyses business results to support commercial decisions. The role also helps with financial planning, budgeting and profitability analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and marketing: prepare daily sales reports, promo follow-ups and volume/value evolution reports showing MTD sales versus monthly targets by brand; set monthly targets for Sales Representatives based on the approved organizational budget; amend the promo plan according to the monthly rolling forecast.
• Follow up on IT reporting, codes and barcodes, and meet regularly with the Sales team to discuss bottlenecks.
• Financial analysis and budgeting: assist in preparing the budget review plan, prepare P&L top lines and gross margin simulations, and prepare monthly financial reports requested by suppliers.
• Share biweekly updates on forecast accuracy by item and flag potential stock coverage risks; monitor near-expiry items and high stock levels; provide the monthly Gross to Net report in coordination with Finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• 0-3 years of experience in Sales Analysis, Commercial Analysis, Business Analysis or a similar position.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills, with proven ability to deal with numbers.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
