Research Manager – Humanitarian Planning (Beirut)

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Research Manager to lead its Humanitarian Planning & Prioritisation Unit (HPPU) for the Lebanon mission. Based in Beirut, you will support evidence‑based decision‑making in a complex, multi‑crisis environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the research strategy for the HPPU under the supervision of the Deputy/Country Representative and IMPACT HQ.
• Represent IMPACT with donors, senior external partners, and humanitarian clusters.
• Coordinate data collection, management and analysis activities with internal and external actors.
• Oversee the production of research outputs, ensuring methodological rigour and relevance to humanitarian planning.
• Provide analytical oversight and synthesize findings to inform prioritisation and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset combined with proven managerial experience.
• Comfortable engaging with donors and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in humanitarian contexts, particularly in Lebanon or similar multi‑crisis settings.
• Ability to work independently and lead a multidisciplinary team.
