Remote Bookkeeper for Accounting Migration

About the role

AccuFin Services is looking for a detail‑oriented Remote Bookkeeper to support a client transitioning from QuickBooks Online to NetSuite. The role focuses on managing large Excel‑based datasets, reconciling historical financial information, and ensuring data accuracy throughout the migration process.

Key responsibilities

• Review, organize, and reconcile extensive financial datasets in Excel.
• Support the migration of accounting records from QuickBooks Online/Excel to NetSuite.
• Compare data between Excel and NetSuite to identify missing transactions, duplicates, and reconciliation differences.
• Perform bank, credit‑card, general‑ledger, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Validate opening balances and historical financial information.
• Maintain accurate supporting documentation and reconciliation schedules.
• Assist with bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Collaborate remotely with the client and senior accounting team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage large volumes of financial data.
• Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Flexibility with working hours when required.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, lookup formulas, data cleaning, and reconciliation.
• Experience using QuickBooks Online.
• Experience using NetSuite.
• Proficiency handling large Excel‑based databases.
