Remote Architecture and Interior Design Internship

About the role

Bitarchitects is launching the 11th edition of its international Summer 2026 Architecture and Interior Design Internship Program. This remote internship offers emerging architects and designers the chance to work on real projects, learn U.S. building codes, and collaborate with a global team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage design projects from concept development through final completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and U.S. planning regulations.
• Study and apply U.S. architectural guidelines and construction types.
• Draft detailed as‑built and proposed plans.
• Participate in interior furnishing and design tasks.
• Create project videos and visual presentations.
• Track work hours using timesheets and meet project timelines.
• Conduct research on feasibility, environmental impact, and related topics.
• Contribute to social media content showcasing Bitarchitects projects.
• Attend regular Zoom meetings with management in Washington, D.C.

Required profile

• BA in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Availability Monday to Thursday, at least 5 hours per day.
• Ability to work remotely and attend scheduled Zoom meetings (3:00 PM ET).
• Strong interest in U.S. building codes and construction methods.

Required skills

• Architectural drafting and plan development.
• Design visualization and video presentation creation.
• Research and reporting on project feasibility and environmental impact.
