Regional Sales Manager – MENA

About the role

Watary Digital is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial expansion across the MENA region. You will be responsible for building high‑performing sales teams, securing new partnerships with artists, labels and content owners, and driving revenue growth in key markets such as Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, and secure new partnerships with artists, record labels, rights holders, and music catalogues.
• Expand market presence through strategic business development initiatives across the MENA region.
• Lead commercial negotiations, deal structuring, revenue‑share and contract terms.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with industry stakeholders and oversee partner onboarding.
• Own renewal negotiations, retention strategy and upsell opportunities.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet ambitious growth targets.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide forecasting and quota reporting.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and inform regional strategy.
• Manage regional sales budget, including travel and event costs.
• Recruit, build and lead a high‑performing sales team across multiple MENA markets.
• Set KPIs, run pipeline reviews and coach team members.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance and Legal on client insights, royalty accuracy and contract compliance.
• Represent Watary Digital at industry events and contribute to thought leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital music distribution, music technology, digital media or entertainment sales.
• Proven success in business development and partnership acquisition within the music industry.
• Strong network of artists, labels, managers, publishers and rights holders across MENA.
• Leadership experience in recruiting, mentoring and managing sales teams.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Willingness to travel throughout the MENA region.
