Purchasing Officer

About the role

Arwan is looking for a motivated Purchasing Officer to support its operations in Lebanon. The role focuses on supplier management, strategic sourcing, and ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services that meet the company’s quality and cost objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process, from requisition to delivery.
• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve cost‑effective solutions.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities based on operational needs.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
