Prospect Research Manager – Advancement Operations

About the role

The Advancement Entity is seeking a Prospect Research Manager to lead operational prospect research for its Advancement Operations Department. Based primarily on the Beirut campus, the role supports frontline fundraisers with high‑quality data to inform donor strategies and campaign pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Set research priorities, assign projects, and monitor quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Identify, qualify, and profile individual, corporate, foundation, and alumni prospects using tools such as WealthEngine, iWave, LinkedIn, and Foundation Directory Online.
• Produce donor profiles, wealth screenings, and executive briefings for fundraisers and university leadership.
• Collaborate with the AVP for Advancement, development directors, and the analytics team to integrate research data into Raiser’s Edge NXT and reporting tools.
• Support moves‑management, track prospect engagement, and contribute to campaign pipeline development.
• Supervise and coach Prospect Researchers, set performance goals, and ensure ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum six years of experience in advancement research, prospect strategy, or fundraising analytics, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with prospect research tools and CRM systems, preferably Raiser’s Edge NXT.
• Strong analytical, writing, and project‑management abilities.
