About the role
The Proposal and New Business Development Coordinator will support Save the Children International Lebanon in managing donor and member relationships, tracking funding pipelines and developing high‑quality proposals that align with the organisation’s strategic priorities. Reporting to the New Business Development Senior Manager, the role works closely with Awards, Programme Operations, Programme Development & Quality, MEAL and Finance teams.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the NBD Senior Manager with donor landscape analysis, market intelligence and identification of funding opportunities.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive funding tracker, monitoring upcoming opportunities, donor engagements and proposal timelines.
- Support early capture planning for priority bids, coordinating donor intelligence, competitor analysis and partner mapping.
- Prepare donor, member and stakeholder briefings and participate in visits, ensuring follow‑up actions are completed.
- Ensure all NBD tools, dashboards and records are current and data‑ready.
- Collaborate with programme and finance teams to gather information for proposal development and positioning.
- Contribute to the drafting and editing of complex proposals, drawing on global and regional expertise.
Required profile
- Proven experience in new business development, donor liaison or grant proposal coordination within the humanitarian or development sector.
- Strong analytical abilities to assess funding pipelines and market trends.
- Excellent written communication skills for high‑quality proposal preparation.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to adapt working hours during major humanitarian emergencies.
