Project Coordinator Engineer – Electrical & Solar Projects

About the role

The Project Coordinator Engineer will oversee the execution of electrical, solar, low‑current, CCTV and alarm system projects. You will act as the central point of contact between the project manager, technical teams, suppliers and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities for electrical, solar, low‑current, CCTV and alarm system works.
• Monitor site progress against approved schedules and company requirements.
• Liaise with Project Manager, Technical Manager, engineers, technicians, procurement, warehouse and clients.
• Review drawings, BOQ, material requests and technical documents with relevant teams.
• Track material availability, delivery schedules and site needs to prevent delays.
• Prepare and update project schedules, work plans, progress and site follow‑up reports.
• Organise site visits, inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Maintain organized project documentation, approvals, testing records and handover files.
• Communicate project updates and pending issues to clients as required.
• Support the Project Manager with status reports, meeting notes and corrective actions.
• Monitor risks, delays or technical obstacles and escalate them promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in project coordination for electrical, solar, low‑current, CCTV or alarm system projects.
• Strong knowledge of project execution, site coordination and technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams, layouts, BOQ and technical manuals.
• Excellent coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
