Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards. This role requires close coordination with store keepers, operators, and the warehouse to guarantee smooth workflow and timely delivery of finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with the store keeper to verify availability of packaging materials and monitor weekly requirements.
• Review the previous day's production, including pasteurizer content and labeling, and submit daily reports for data entry.
• Supervise machine start‑up (mixing, filling, labeling) to ensure process conformity and product quality.
• Validate daily production paperwork completed by operators to prevent errors.
• Coordinate with the warehouse storekeeper to manage workflow and dispatch finished products for storage.
• Check pallet quantities and labeling using MepticoApp before transferring to the warehouse.
• Control the production system by handling deliveries and receptions.
• Prepare inventory of packaging materials, issue stock correction sheets, and forward them to accounting as needed.
• Compare on‑site material quantities with system records and send weekly stock corrections.
• Enforce hygiene and safety standards, ensuring a clean work environment.
• Ensure sufficient staffing on production lines to avoid delays.
• Address performance issues with employees and provide feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in production planning and schedule management.
• Strong supervisory abilities with a track record of leading teams.
• Solid knowledge of production management best practices.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing or a similar industry is advantageous.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
