Production Manager – Manufacturing Operations Lead

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Production Manager to lead and optimise manufacturing operations at our fast‑growing facility that produces flavored consumer products. The role combines strategic planning, day‑to‑day shop‑floor management and continuous improvement of batch processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities across all lines, ensuring targets, efficiency and KPIs are met.
• Plan, organise and supervise shift schedules, manpower allocation and machine utilisation.
• Oversee machinery setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and coordination with maintenance/engineering teams.
• Control raw‑material consumption, inventory coordination and packaging material handling.
• Implement smart production systems, ensure full batch traceability and manage ERP Navision for planning and inventory.
• Lead, train and supervise production supervisors, operators and shift leaders, fostering a safety‑first, continuous‑improvement culture.
• Maintain GMP, SOP, hygiene and safety compliance and collaborate with Quality Control/Assurance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in cosmetics, fragrances, flavours, FMCG, chemical mixing or similar batch‑production environments.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end batch manufacturing, production planning and shift scheduling.
• Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles and smart production processes.
