Procurement and Ariba Specialist

About the role

The Procurement and Ariba Specialist will support Johnson & Johnson’s Innovative Medicine business in Beirut, handling end‑to‑end procurement processes, tender management and OPEX coordination across Lebanon and Syria.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain supplier records in the cornerstone database, ensuring all required documents are attached.
• Prepare purchase requests in Ariba, correctly assigning GL codes and cost centres, and process automatically generated purchase orders.
• Monitor open PO reports, confirm deliveries, expedite overdue orders and resolve mismatches before invoice receipt.
• Create tenders and contracts using i‑tender, process performance bonds via CitiDirect and KBC, and maintain a performance‑bond tracker.
• Coordinate OPEX planning by collecting planned activities from budget owners, monitoring monthly spend, updating forecasts and reconciling budget changes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or supply‑chain support, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of GL codes, cost centres and OPEX budgeting processes.
• Ability to work with multiple business owners across countries and ensure timely implementation of tasks.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
