About the role

YMY Tutoring is seeking a Private Tutor to provide individualized, in‑person academic support to university students in Balluna. The role involves planning and delivering lessons, clarifying complex concepts, and guiding students through assignments, projects, and exam preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver tailored lesson plans for university‑level subjects.
• Explain difficult concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Guide students through assignments, projects, and exam preparation, offering constructive feedback.
• Assess learners’ needs, track progress, and maintain clear communication with students.
• Coordinate schedules to ensure consistent, timely on‑site sessions.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in one or more university disciplines.
• Demonstrated tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan lessons, organize materials, and manage multiple student schedules.
• Comfort working onsite in Balluna with reliable attendance.
• Relevant academic background (current enrollment or completed degree) and proficiency in English.
• Commitment to ethical academic support and promotion of independent learning.
