Presales Consultant (Cybersecurity & Networking)

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is looking for an ambitious and motivated Presales Consultant (Cybersecurity & Networking) to join its team in Beirut. The role is on-site and covers technical presales, solution design, customer support and tender documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements, RFPs, RFQs and technical specifications, and support the design and configuration of cybersecurity and networking solutions
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs), technical proposals and compliance matrices, and assist with solution sizing, licensing and hardware selection
• Work with senior technical resources and partners to validate solutions, and identify technical gaps
• Take part in customer meetings and technical discussions with the Business Development Manager, and help prepare presentations, demonstrations and PoCs
• Support responses to customer technical questions and help present proposed solutions
• Support projects on firewalls, network security, endpoint protection, IAM, data protection, security monitoring, LAN/WAN/WLAN, routing, switching and infrastructure, and build knowledge of Zero Trust, SASE, SD-WAN and cloud security
• Review tender documents, help prepare technical responses and compliance statements, coordinate with suppliers and partners, and follow up on clarifications and deadlines
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, engineering and project delivery teams, assist with technical handovers after project awards, and maintain technical documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in technical presales, cybersecurity, networking, IT infrastructure or a related technical role
• Fresh graduates with strong technical skills and relevant internship experience may also be considered
• Good command of English and French, written and spoken

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate understanding of cybersecurity and networking concepts
• Familiarity with firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs and enterprise networking
• Experience with technical proposals, BoQs or RFP responses is an advantage
• Relevant technical certifications in networking or cybersecurity are a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, good presentation skills, and ability to work independently and on multiple tasks
