Platform Operations Specialist

About the role

The Platform Operations Specialist ensures the stability, accuracy, and performance of the Orbt platform, acting as the operational bridge between commercial teams, partners, and the technology team. You will be the first point of escalation for platform, customer, and supplier issues, supporting Orbt's international growth.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor platform performance, order flows, product availability, and supplier connectivity daily, proactively identifying anomalies.
• Investigate and resolve escalated customer issues, perform root‑cause analysis and communicate updates.
• Manage supplier integration issues, including connectivity errors, stock availability, and pricing updates.
• Maintain an accurate product catalog across markets, creating and updating brands, denominations, and configurations.
• Onboard new suppliers and partners, validate integrations, and ensure smooth go‑live launches.
• Reproduce, document, and escalate technical issues through structured tickets and track them to resolution.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for recurring operational processes and contribute to workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with operations colleagues in other time zones for seamless coverage.

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience in technical support, implementation, QA, or marketplace operations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and professional client‑facing style.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and support occasional off‑hours escalations.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of APIs, testing endpoints and interpreting responses (e.g., Postman, JSON).
• Basic SQL skills for data validation and issue investigation.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with ticketing/project management tools such as Jira.
• Optional: scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python) for bulk data handling.
