Information Governance Manager

About the role

GlobeMed is seeking an Information Governance Manager to lead the development and maintenance of its information governance framework. Based on‑site in Sinn Al Fil, the role ensures data protection, privacy, and information security across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain policies, standards and procedures for data classification, retention and disposal.
• Coordinate with IT, legal, compliance and business units to identify and mitigate data risks.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments and gap analyses to verify compliance with relevant laws and internal requirements.
• Monitor adherence to information governance controls and lead remediation efforts.
• Train staff on proper information handling and promote best practices.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of information governance, data protection and privacy regulations.
• Experience in records management and implementing information security controls.
• Ability to conduct compliance audits, risk assessments and gap analyses.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Law, Business or related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in healthcare, insurance or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
