Operations Manager – Manufacturing & Supply Chain

About the role

BanoPuratos, a fast‑growing joint‑venture in the Middle East food‑ingredients market, is looking for an Operations Manager to lead its manufacturing and supply‑chain activities across seven countries. Based in Bechemoun, Lebanon, you will shape the operational vision and drive performance across quality, safety, service, cost and people.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operations for sites in Sharjah (UAE), upcoming Dammam (Saudi Arabia), Jordan and distribution & warehousing activities across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain and Jordan.
• Prepare, coordinate and monitor all CAPEX budgets and ensure financial adherence.
• Define and execute the operational strategy across the five pillars: Quality, HSE, Service, Cost and People.
• Reduce customer complaints, improve right‑first‑time performance and maintain required quality certifications.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety (LTIR) and environmental impact, supporting carbon‑neutrality goals.
• Strengthen S&OP processes, optimize inventory and deliver targeted service levels.
• Implement cost‑saving initiatives, monitor productivity metrics (Cost/Ton, OEE, Working Capital) and lead Project DRIVE.
• Develop shop‑floor engagement, training programmes and leadership capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑site manufacturing operations in the food or ingredients sector.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Demonstrated leadership in quality, HSE, cost optimisation and people development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across diverse cultural environments.
