Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that all plant equipment and machinery operate smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, rapid response to breakdowns, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards in a cosmetics manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical breakdowns using root‑cause analysis.
• Implement and follow the preventive maintenance program for all plant machines and utilities on daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly cycles.
• Respond quickly to corrective maintenance requests on any production line.
• Assist operators on production lines with job‑related technical problems.
• Maintain inventory and minimum stock levels of spare parts.
• Conduct daily routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Oversee contractors during new production line installations.
• Carry out routine calibration and maintenance of electro‑mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Complete maintenance reports and machine data cards in line with ISO requirements.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Group Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns in an industrial setting.
• Experience coordinating preventive maintenance programs across multiple departments.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and ISO compliance.
