Merchandiser – Retail Product Placement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Merchandiser to ensure our products are attractively displayed and readily available to shoppers. You will work closely with store teams and vendors to maintain a fresh, organized, and compliant retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up product displays according to company guidelines and promotional plans, ensuring visual appeal and correct labeling.
• Rotate stock to keep products fresh, monitor expiration dates, and maintain organized back‑room inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels, report low stock, and replenish shelves as needed.
• Implement sales promotions and seasonal displays, analyzing sales data to optimise product visibility.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering product questions and resolving issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries, product placements, and promotional activities.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate records of placement, inventory, and sales, providing feedback to management.

Required profile

• Previous retail or merchandising experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move products safely.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
