MEP BIM Manager

About the role

The MEP BIM Manager leads the implementation and coordination of Building Information Modeling for mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines. You will ensure high‑quality BIM models, compliance with project standards, and smooth information exchange among internal teams, consultants, contractors and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the BIM team, assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Coordinate BIM deliverables with internal disciplines, consultants and contractors.
• Develop accurate MEP 3‑D models, drawings, schedules and related documentation.
• Oversee proper use of BIM software, data accuracy and information exchange.
• Support engineering teams during design development, constructability reviews and value‑engineering studies.
• Monitor Level of Development (LOD) requirements throughout project stages.
• Manage BIM data deliverables and ensure adherence to project BIM protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in MEP engineering and BIM, including leadership of multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction methodologies and engineering coordination.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Experience using Navisworks for clash detection.
• Familiarity with BIM collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360).
