Medical Representative - West Beirut

About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals, a manufacturer of generics, specialty and branded medicines, is looking for a Medical Representative to join its team in West Beirut. The role covers the territory from Achrafieh to Jbeil and focuses on promoting Hikma's pharmaceutical products and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and detail Hikma's pharmaceutical products across the assigned territory, covering East Beirut from Achrafieh to Jbeil.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians in clinics and hospitals and pharmacists.
• Conduct regular customer visits and manage the territory so that coverage and business objectives are met.
• Plan and organize daily activities, prioritizing visits according to business needs and territory potential.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales and performance targets.
• Provide accurate, timely market feedback, including customer insights, competitive activity and market developments.
• Ensure all activities comply with Hikma policies, ethical standards and applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• 1-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably as a Medical Representative.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Excellent planning, organization and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented and accountable, able to work independently and in a team.
• Preferred: previous experience with gastroenterologists and pulmonologists, managing pharmacy accounts, and knowledge of the territory with established HCP relationships.
