Mechanical Engineer – Industrial Projects (On‑site)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join Codimex Group’s industrial and infrastructure projects. The position is based in Beirut and will support activities in the Republic of Congo, designing and optimizing mechanical systems for facilities, machinery and production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Create 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings for equipment and components.
• Perform engineering calculations to ensure safety, reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, electrical and civil engineers, and operations teams during installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and propose efficiency improvements.
• Participate in research and development initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical systems, equipment specification and industrial applications.
• Hands‑on experience working on‑site in an industrial environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in a multicultural, cross‑functional setting; French and/or English proficiency is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of Machine Design and related analysis methods.
• Ability to conduct engineering calculations and data analysis.
