Mechanical Designer

About the role

MLTPMLTP is looking for a Mechanical Designer to create and refine mechanical systems, parts, and equipment from concept through production. The focus will be on electronics enclosures, sheet‑metal components, and automation testing equipment, ensuring functional and reliable designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop machinable parts, metal enclosures, sheet‑metal components, and automation testing equipment.
• Perform tolerance studies and GD&T analyses to guarantee proper functionality and seamless assembly.
• Optimize electronic enclosures with attention to thermal management.
• Create and release detailed mechanical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions.
• Apply ASME and GD&T standards to maintain precision and quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to test and validate designs throughout development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (master's degree a plus).
• 1‑3 years of experience in mechanical design for electronics enclosures, sheet‑metal design, or automation testing equipment.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and ASME standards.
• Experience producing detailed production drawings and mechanical documentation.
• Knowledge of electronics thermal management applied to mechanical design.
