Marketing Technology Specialist

About the role

ECG Brands is building a high‑performing marketing team to support its rapid expansion across Canada. The Marketing Technology Specialist will own the MarTech stack, ensuring websites, tracking, and automation tools are optimized for data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage updates and content publishing across three web properties, applying SEO best practices, schema markup, and page‑speed optimization.
• Implement and maintain Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, including tags, triggers, variables, conversion tracking, and custom events.
• Monitor website performance with Google Search Console and improve SEO/SEM and AI‑search results.
• Integrate data between Zoho CRM, Zoho Analytics, and advertising platforms (Meta, Google) using CAPI, offline conversion tracking, and audience sync.
• Collaborate with the Head of IT and VP of Marketing on email automation, segmented lists, and marketing integrations.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with data‑privacy regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Technical mindset with experience managing website infrastructure and marketing analytics.
• Strong understanding of SEO, schema markup, and AI‑driven search optimization.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with IT, advertising, and compliance teams.
