Maintenance Technician – Food Production & Facility

About the role

Cedars Agrotech is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician to keep its central kitchens, street‑food outlets and catering facilities running smoothly. The position is on‑site and focuses on the reliable operation, preventive care and timely repair of kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, electrical and plumbing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on all kitchen and facility assets.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults and execute effective repairs.
• Carry out routine inspections, lubrication, cleaning and part replacements to minimise downtime.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from kitchen, operations and catering teams.
• Ensure all work complies with food‑safety, health‑safety and PPE regulations.
• Drive a company truck (10 ton capacity) between sites as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience maintaining kitchen equipment, refrigeration, electrical and plumbing installations.
• Strong troubleshooting ability for mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of preventive‑maintenance best practices and ability to follow technical manuals.
• Basic understanding of food‑safety and occupational‑health regulations.
• Valid truck‑driving licence for vehicles of 10 ton or more.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast‑paced food‑service environment.
