Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager reports to the Assistant Director of Engineering and leads the hotel’s maintenance team. The role ensures that all corrective and preventive maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently, while maintaining fire‑life‑safety systems and supporting energy‑conservation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule and motivate a multi‑skill engineering team to achieve high performance and quality standards.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programmes for building fabric, plant equipment and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Monitor daily repair and maintenance status and report progress to the ADOE.
• Prepare and follow up on monthly consumption reports for electricity, gas, steam and water.
• Develop and maintain an energy‑conservation programme to meet budget targets.
• Coordinate emergency 24‑hour service with suppliers and manage on‑call duties after normal working hours.
• Ensure all public areas are patrolled daily and lighting is functional.

Required profile

• Lebanese nationality.
• Certified technical diploma in mechanical (HVAC) or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in building or plant maintenance, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Excellent oral and written Arabic and English skills.
• Ability to lead, train and develop a team of technicians.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
