Assistant Director of Engineering

About the role

The Assistant Director of Engineering supports the efficient operation of the Engineering department, providing services to all hotel operations and maintaining equipment, buildings, and grounds in optimal condition. The role ensures continuous energy supply, oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinates contractors to meet hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of the real estate.
• Ensure the production and supply of energy at all times.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and hotel procedures.
• Support other operating departments by providing engineering services as required.
• Optimise maintenance costs.
• Comply with all Kempinski company policies.

Required profile

• Lebanese nationality.
• Engineer in HVACR, architect or equivalent background.
• Minimum 2 years experience in building technology and staff management.
• Excellent oral and written skills in Arabic and English.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and leadership abilities.
