Logistics Assistant – Senegal

About the role

The Logistics Assistant will support Twellium’s supply chain operations from Senegal, coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. You will work closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to optimise transportation, storage and distribution processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating transportation, warehousing and delivery activities.
• Monitor and track shipments, resolve delays and maintain real‑time visibility using GPS and telematics.
• Conduct driver evaluations and oversee fleet performance, maintenance schedules and regulatory compliance.
• Manage fuel, maintenance and third‑party transportation costs.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments and logistics documentation.
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to streamline processes.
• Prepare shipping and receiving documents, invoices and purchase orders.
• Support warehouse operations, stock management and order fulfilment.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and contribute to cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or business administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain or warehousing preferred.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience using logistics software.
• Familiarity with GPS and telematics tracking systems.
