Lighting Engineer

About the role

Firefly International is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Lighting Engineer to join its team on a full‑time basis. The role involves supporting tender and project requirements, preparing technical submissions, and delivering optimized lighting solutions that meet project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings and tender documents.
• Prepare technical and material submittals.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and internal project teams.
• Support project execution and technical coordination.
• Assist in lighting control system selection and integration.
• Prepare compliance sheets and technical comparisons.
• Participate in technical meetings with consultants and contractors.
• Support value‑engineering proposals and alternative solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–4 years of experience in lighting or electrical projects.
• Experience with lighting control systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
