About the role

Athar Psychotherapy & Training is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join its multidisciplinary team in Beirut. The professional will deliver evidence‑based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and adolescents, handling intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, and adolescent psychotherapy sessions.
• Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and intake assessments.
• Develop and document treatment plans and clinical notes in accordance with ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other clinicians to ensure coordinated, culturally sensitive care.
• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to trainees and junior staff.
• Participate in case discussions, training activities, and professional development initiatives.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) with a valid Lebanese license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong foundation in evidence‑based therapeutic approaches and mental health assessment.
• Experience delivering psychotherapy to diverse client groups, including couples and adolescents.
• Proficiency in psychological testing, including selection, administration, and interpretation of instruments.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills with a client‑centered, culturally sensitive approach.
