About the role
We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition and activation of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the MENA region for a crypto exchange. The role focuses on building a high‑performing KOL network that directly drives trading volume and user activity, rather than traditional account management.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, onboard, and activate high‑potential KOLs and partners across MENA markets with a focus on generating trading activity.
- Build and expand a scalable KOL pipeline, including new KOL acquisition and reactivation of inactive or underperforming partners.
- Own KOL performance end‑to‑end: activation (first trading activity), volume generation, ongoing engagement and retention.
- Execute KOL growth strategies and collaborate with Marketing and Operations to launch campaigns, trading competitions, and go‑to‑market initiatives.
- Track, analyze and optimize KPIs, manage risks, and provide weekly performance insights and recommendations.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of Business Development experience, preferably in cryptocurrency exchanges or performance‑driven affiliate environments.
- Strong understanding of the MENA market and its KOL ecosystem.
- Proven experience working with KOLs/affiliates, CPA or performance‑based models, and user acquisition funnels.
- Existing network of KOLs in MENA is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
