Junior Purchasing Officer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Purchasing Officer to support our procurement activities. You will work closely with the accounting, production, and quality teams to ensure that all materials and certificates are received on time and documented correctly.

Key responsibilities

• Update the Dolphin and production systems daily with purchase orders, goods receipt, and returns, ensuring all documents are scanned and attached.
• Coordinate with the Accounting team regarding supplier payments.
• Work with the production team and local suppliers to confirm delivery dates and guarantee timely receipt of items needed for production.
• Collect and verify all required certificates from suppliers, such as Certificates of Analysis, Data Sheets, and Halal certificates.
• Communicate any defects in raw or packaging materials to suppliers and internal stakeholders and follow up on corrective actions.
• Handle internal requests from Quality, Production, R&D, IT, Maintenance, and other departments, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines.
• Maintain a register for material received or borrowed outside the regular purchase cycle and ensure proper sign‑off.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in procurement is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Dolphin procurement system.
