Junior Operations Officer

About the role

The Junior Operations Officer supports the smooth flow of inventory, orders and customs clearance, working closely with the sales team and suppliers to ensure accurate stock management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date overview of inventory and record all incoming and outgoing items in the software.
• Place orders with suppliers following company protocol and coordinate with the sales department.
• Coordinate with clearance agents to manage customs clearance and receipt of goods.
• Resolve mismatched items with suppliers or customs and process returns efficiently.
• Provide the sales team and management with item turnover analysis and weekly reports on near‑expired goods.
• Identify and report any stock losses or additions, and follow up on consignment items.
• Prepare and submit daily activity reports to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in inventory, operations, logistics or administrative roles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in English and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
