Junior Collection Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Collection Officer to join our finance team. In this entry‑level position you will support the timely recovery of overdue payments while delivering professional service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers with overdue accounts and outstanding balances to encourage prompt payment.
• Explain available payment options and propose suitable settlement arrangements.
• Maintain accurate records of payments, balances and collection activities.
• Escalate unresolved cases and coordinate legal recovery procedures when necessary.
• Respond to customer inquiries and payment‑related concerns in a timely, solution‑oriented manner.
• Adhere to the company’s information security policies and protect confidential data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 0‑1 year of experience in collections or a similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite.
