Junior Accountant

About the role

Infoquest is seeking a Junior Accountant to support its senior finance team in day‑to‑day financial operations. The role focuses on managing both accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payments, and smooth month‑end closing in a fast‑growing expert network environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue client invoices, maintain the AR aging report, and follow up on overdue payments.
• Process contractor and supplier payments, verify calculations, and keep payment schedules up to date.
• Perform weekly bank reconciliations, match payments to invoices, and assist with monthly closing activities.
• Support VAT documentation preparation and maintain organized financial records.
• Assist in internal finance summaries, audit documentation, and compliance processes as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting support.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, disciplined working style.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
• Proactive follow‑up mindset and sense of ownership over financial tasks.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for handling financial data.
• Familiarity with accounting software, preferably Xero.
