IT Officer – Technical Support & Systems Management

About the role

The IT Officer will ensure the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of Daher Foods' IT infrastructure. You will provide technical support, maintain networks and systems, manage databases, and assist with IT procurement and implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hardware, software, and network assistance to users and resolve service requests promptly.
• Maintain, monitor, and administer computer networks, servers, and related environments.
• Configure and manage system software, applications, and hardware, ensuring regular backups, updates, and patches.
• Implement security protocols, monitor threats, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Install, configure, and maintain database software and support business applications.
• Train staff on new systems and maintain comprehensive IT documentation.
• Assist in evaluating and procuring IT hardware, software, and infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
