Information Technology Technician

About the role

The Information Technology Technician provides day‑to‑day technical support to staff and learners at LWIS‑CiS in Lebanon. The role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network issues while ensuring classroom and office technologies run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade computers, peripherals and educational technology tools.
• Manage user accounts, access rights and Microsoft‑based systems and applications.
• Respond to service requests, document incidents and resolutions.
• Coordinate with vendors or external support when required.
• Assist in training staff and learners on basic IT usage and best practices.
• Contribute to a secure and reliable technology environment.

Required profile

• Strong IT knowledge with practical experience in hardware, software and network environments.
• Proven troubleshooting and technical‑support skills.
• Ability to deliver responsive customer service to diverse users.
• Experience training users on IT tools and digital best practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft environments, educational technology and school‑based IT systems.
• Excellent communication, organization and time‑management abilities.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to handle multiple support requests.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
