About the role

The Chief Information Officer will lead all technology operations, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. This senior role involves shaping IT policy, managing budgets, and overseeing a team of IT professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technology operations, including network security, and evaluate them against established goals.
• Develop and implement IT policies and systems to support upper‑management strategies.
• Analyze departmental business requirements to determine technology needs.
• Purchase cost‑effective equipment and software, and ensure their proper use.
• Identify upgrade or new system requirements and report to senior management.
• Coordinate IT managers and supervise technical staff, providing guidance.
• Control the IT budget and report on expenditures.
• Build vendor relationships and negotiate cost‑efficient contracts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT director or in a similar senior IT leadership role.
• Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
• Experience managing an information technology budget.
