About the role
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is seeking a Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) Program Manager to lead high‑quality delivery of HMA activities in Lebanon. The role covers fundraising, drafting and rolling out technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), delivering training to field staff, and supporting local partners to build a sustainable, nationalised HMA operation. Close collaboration with DRC technical coordinators, the Area Programme Manager and the Lebanese Mine Action Center is required.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure high‑quality delivery of HMA activities from fundraising to implementation.
- Draft, update and roll out HMA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide training to field staff on HMA processes and standards.
- Support and oversee DRC’s HMA local partners to ensure effective operations.
- Coordinate with DRC Technical Coordinators, the Area Programme Manager and the Lebanese Mine Action Center for integration and operational support.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and reporting.
Required profile
- Proven experience in managing humanitarian mine action programmes.
- Ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders, including local partners and national mine action authorities.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills in a humanitarian context.
